Hello

Hello – And Welcome! I’m Anine (A-nee-na), named after my great-grandmother. Anine means Ninth Child in Danish, although I’m the first child - not the ninth!

I am:

Happily Married to the Love of My Life, Steve | Mom to Three Awesome Young Men | Business Owner | Preschool Teacher | Licensed Child Care Provider | Collector of Ideas | Working from My In-Home Classroom

I feel very thankful for all of the people who have helped me and invested in me during my life so far, and want to be a person pays it forward. Working from home, now, I don’t have coworkers to help, but every day I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the children in my care and their families.

I started this website based on the idea of helping people who are newer at this than me – not to give advice, but to share ideas that may benefit you in your work with children.

Thanks for being here! And welcome to Ninth Child Home!

A Place to Share Ideas

Through my blog, I hope to share ideas that I’ve learned along the way in the hopes that they may benefit you as well, in your own work with children.
